What Happens When My Child Becomes Ill At The Facility?

Daycare Marine Park treats children’s well-being crucially important, so in case a child showing any following symptoms: fever, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, and/or severe coughing – parents will be contacted immediately and are mandated to pick up their child  from the daycare within an hour.

 

What Happens If My Child Misbehaves During Instructional Time?

We do not believe in or use of punishment. Our  methods consist of  effective kids training, which helps them learn the wrongs and manage their behavior.  This approach redirects any behavior that is not right by allowing the child to have some quiet time inside the group while still engaging in individual activities.

 

If My Child Requires Medication, Will A Staff Member Be Able To Administer It?

We cannot and will not administer any medication, over the counter or prescription. We will only administer first aid as needed, along with topical antibacterial ointment.

When Are Payments Made?

Payments are due on the first of every month. Just in case of need we are able to grant a five-day extension for repayments made fully,after the fifth day you will be charged a late fee of $5 per day until payment is received.

 

How Qualified Is The Staff At Little Scholars?

All our teachers are certified in early childhood schooling training. Our lead teachers have advanced degrees and licenses in childhood education. All our educating assistants have every year training as mandated through today’s NYS DOHMH.

 

What Do You Do In An Event Of An Emergency?

Depending on the type of emergency, parents will be contacted as quickly as possible. They will be notified as to the type of emergency and expected to proceed in the matter in a helpful and attentive manner.
